UNDERRATED. That is my one word to sum up how I feel about this game. This when the controversial Paper Mario series turned from its RPG roots but its not at the fault of this game! This game was actually made to be a spin-off and it was intended for release on the Gamecube not the Wii. The Gamecube already has one very popular Paper Mario game so I don't think anyone would've complained but NOOOOO just because it gets pushed back to the Wii its a huge disgrace. Now I know that this one isn't quite as hated as the games following but I still think this is one of the greatest Mario spin-offs for the plot alone. I am not going to spoil anything but it's probably one of the greatest narratives in a Nintendo game ever. Oh yah and the music is phenomenal, but we should've expected nothing less because the music in Paper Mario games is always good. The games big fault is the gameplay but again keep in mind this game was intended to be a spin-off so of course its different. I know that doesn't excuse the games repetitiveness and its sometimes impossible puzzles... but please for my sake just check it out... the story is worth it I promise. Thanks to Nintendo and Intelligence Systems for Paper Mario (VIVA LA PAPER!)
