Episode 10 : Strange Motives The next day after Dash’s tiny transformation and Meg’s sorta heart break, Lightning was with Meg in the park listening to Meg’s long story of what happened to her with Dash last night. “ He’s been acting like this for weeks now! I thought he would be happy, but he seems more sad and worried about something then happy. “ Meg said. Lightning sighed because she knew what was going on with Dash, but she promised him she wouldn’t tell Meg a thing about it. “ I’m sure he’s fine..... “ Lightning said trying to comfort her. “ And all of us already agreed something is up a few days ago! Remember? His eyes keep glowing randomly. “ Meg explained. “ Man I hate lying to Meg..... “ Lightning thought to herself worriedly. “ And guess what he said to me through the door last night? “ Meg said. “ What??? “ Lightning asked. “ JUST GO! I CAN’T RISK IT! I CAN’T HURT YOU! “ Meg imitated. “ He said that?..... “ Lightning asked a bit concerned. Meg nodded slightly and felt like she wanted to cry. “ What if..... he’s planning to hurt me?..... “ Meg asked. “ Woah Meg, that’s a bit deep. I doubt that’s what he meant..... he loves you.... more than you’ll ever know. “ Lightning explained. Meg sighed, “ Yeah, your right..... but still, I’m really worried that somethings wrong with him..... I feel like he’s not telling me something. “ Meg replied. “ Maybe.... maybe not...... all I can say at this point, Meg is that only time will tell what will happen to him. “ Lightning said. “ True.... “ Meg replied sadly. “ Now cmon, stop being droopy. It’ll be the big day in about two weeks! “ Lightning said to her. “ Yeah! I can’t believe this is happening to me..... never thought I’d ever fall for my teenage best friend..... “ Meg said. “ Just out of curiosity.... how did you two meet exactly? Better, how did you two start dating? “ Lightning questioned. “ Oh that’s a really good question! Like I said, Dash was my first friend.... well, we sorta became close after like a year of being friends. And THEN on my 15th birthday, Dash got me a locket necklace with a message inside. And guess what it read? “ Meg said. “ What? Tell me! “ Lightning replied curiously. “ It read, “ Your such an amazing girl, Meg. Can I date you? “ “ Meg said. “ OMG! He wrote that in there?! How sweet..... what did you say? “ Lightning asked. Meg smiled warmly, “ At first I was shocked but I immediately felt after reading that message that we had some sort of connection. So, ever since then, we were boy friend and girl friend. Until.... ya know, we got separated for like 6 years..... but we’re back together thanks to you, Lightning. “ Meg explained. Lightning smiled, “ Ehhh, I try my best, Meg. I’m not a match maker.... I just had a feeling by that photo you showed me before I got you two got reunited. “ Lightning said. Just as Meg was about to speak again, Dash walked over to the two with a warm smile. “ DASH! “ Meg said happily and got up to hug him. “ Heeeyyyy sugar bean. “ Dash replied. Lightning’s eyes grew big and a puzzled look grew across her face. “ Sugar bean?...... since when does he call her that? That’s not like him...... “ Lightning thought to herself. Meg blushed lightly after being called that nickname. “ Aww you. “ Meg said with a smile. “ Meg doesn’t even notice!..... what is up with Dash? “ Lightning thought. Lightning slowly backed away from the two while they were busy talking. Lightning took her phone out of her pocket and texted Silver the weird information she just got. Lightning had a gut feeling something bad was gonna happen, but she didn’t know what. And Meg didn’t seem to notice that her fiancé was acting more unusual than normal. But she was determined to figure out what was going on with Dash and keep her best friend safe and sound. Sooner or later Silver texted Lightning back and told her to meet her at a nearby cafe in 15 minutes so they could talk more about it. He would text more but his phone was running out of power. Lightning agreed and quietly walked away from Meg and Dash who were currently flirting with each other to get to the cafe where Silver was meeting her to chat. Hah, let’s keep writing, Queenie.
