WELCOME TO WINGS OF FIGHTER: The overly-complicated, shockingly deep Wings of Fire-themed fighting game I worked on for over a year during the tail end of COVID. To play, Player 1 uses the WAD keys to move and T & Y to attack. Both of the attack buttons do different things when you tap them vs. when you hold them down. For Player 2, ditto except <^> to move and ' & Enter to attack (or, if you use the extended keyboard layout, 1 & 2 to attack) I know it still says WIP - I'm sorry, but I'm not working on it anymore. I started to remake fighter animations to more resemble an actual fighting game and less like a flash game, but I never finished it along with adding particle effects to all the fighters. Who knows, someday I might ask Tui for permission and remake this on Unreal or Godot? That'd be cool. I cannot use either program, but still it'd be cool. EVERYTHING BELOW (including the slightly more elaborate How to Play) is really old! ---------------------------------------- this is a WIP game i'm working on, like basically Street Fighter but with WOF characters. Characters on the roster but not added yet: Cricket & Bumblebee Luna Sundew Wren & Sky (probably?) P1: WASD, tap T to melee and hold it to attack ranged, tap Y to use Special and hold it to use Final. P2: Arrow keys, tap 1 to melee and hold it to attack ranged, tap 2 to use Special and hold it to use Final. NOTE: The controls for P2 are different if your keyboard doesn't have a numberpad, the attack key is ' and the special key is Enter
NOTE: Before you start a multiplayer match, hit Configure Keyboard ! THERE MAY BE ISSUES FIGHTING A CPU WHILE COMPACT KEYBOARD LAYOUT IS SELECTED. No, I don't know why. ! If you want to run this project with a pair of JoyCons connected to your computer via Bluetooth, use the SA Gamepad Support addon and set the Keyboard to the extended layout; the controls are configured to support two players, each with a JoyCon. SSBU controls, and the left joycon is P1 and right is P2.
