Hewwo Everyone! Okay, so I'm Doodle! <3 And today, my little 150 costume animation can explain... So, lets get down to business. Recently, there have been multiple reports and scenes where some Scratchers have been mass reporting, stealing art, and many, many other problems. I'm not pointing out that person, just whoever you are please stop. Nope, not trying to the boss here, trying to change. I'll explain what each of these are. Mass Reporting and Reporting have a BIG difference! Mass Reporting is reporting something that's GOOD and Reporting is reporting something that's BAD. Mass Reporting is when a group of people report an innocent project, profile, studio, or comment for no reason at all. The scratch reporting system can't understand whether or not its actually bad or not, so that person/studio/project/comment gets auto deleted and that person could get temporarily banned. In this case, its the people who reports fault, not the reporting system. Its happened to many famous and even unfamous scratcher's before, which is actually, REALLY disappointing and sad. Reporting is when someone types something rude or harmful and you report that comment. A project, profile, or studio could hurt peoples feelings too. If you ever see something really rude, someone copying some other person's profile, or a studio against a person, report that! Sometimes, even if you state your opinion, don't say - "HEY, your art is HORRIBLE." Like, no...that's seriously rude. Give the person some helpful feedback or just say what you think in kind words - "Hey, I think that your art could improve, because of __________" That's WAY better! But, sometimes if you share your opinion cuz your hurt, the other person should understand and maybe apologize! For example - "Helo, so...I was checking your projects, and what you said wasn't pretty nice, so can you please change that?" Your saying your opinion, just in a kind way. Though if someone's being rude to someone, you should say - "Okay, so what you said to ______ wasn't that nice, maybe we should talk it out?" Kay, so moving on...next is art stealing! Art stealing is when for example _____ makes a really pretty puppy and ______ decides to use it, just never gives credit. Uh-uh, that ain't nice. If I decide to use _____'s art I would say on the Notes and Credits - "Credit to _____________ for drawing the cat, I recolored!" or something like that. Next, lets go to Impersonating. This is really rude and has happened to multiple famous scratchers. (For this example I'm using a random username) Like so - RainbowGirl is a V E R Y famous scratcher and some person decides to impersonate her. The impersonator names herself 'RainbowGiirl' and backpacks ALL of RainbowGirl's projects, shares em on her own profile and...copies description. She pretends to be part of the same studios and jokes around. Welp, really unfair right? Soon peeps start to notice and the impersonator, RainbowGiirl gets banned. Okay, so lets say RainbowGiirl was only a fan and neva meant any harm. What should she do? Here's what 1. Don't copy profile description, just write like Rainbow's Fan! or something 2. Don't try to "join" same studios 3. Stop the backpacking projects... 4. Don't scream "I'm the REAL RAINBOW, BELIEVE MEEE!" Peeps can see you joined 4 hours 32 minutes ago And, your all set to be a "Number 1 fan for anyone!" That's all I needed to discuss with ya'll! If there are more problems on scratch you've seen, please tell me so I can describe em! For now, cya!
