DTA entries!! click or press space for a small demonstration of my art process (lol I forgot to save the sketches): 1. ref 2. lineart 3. base colors & design 4. shading 5. background 6. more shadows 7. adding in the words (note: this piece goes with a song called "Dreamer" by Black Violin, but I couldn't get the music into the project :<) Bio (mint chip): Name: Juniper Gender: F Sexuality: Lesbian Personality: creative, outgoing and calm at the same time, always awake Likes: sweets, mornings, her gf Celeste, stars, the outdoors, cool and crisp air Dislikes: people who tell her she can't do something, sour stuff, sharp things Bio (cloud): Name: Celeste Gender: F Sexuality: Lesbian Personality: mellow, usually sleepy, quiet and loving, creative Likes: stars, napping, her gf Juniper, fluff, sunrises and sunsets, pastel colors, cool breezes, cozy socks <3 Dislikes: heat, sharp rocks, sleeping on a hard floor, pistachios Backstory (both): Celeste and Juniper lived in a dirty human city. Trash filled the streets, and the two were always scavenging for food. However, they had each other, and together they stayed happy. And they always hoped. They wanted to escape their life and leave the city, but they didn't know how. But they hoped that one day they might. One night, while they were asleep, a comet shot overhead, and with it, each heard a voice in her head. "I see you. I know how you suffer. However, I see the potential in you. You are Dreamers. If you wish to leave the city, you may come join me among the stars." When Juniper and Celeste awoke, they found themselves in a new world. They were no longer in the city; they were out in nature, with no trash or humans in sight. And the stars were so bright and big. It was everything they had ever wanted. Neither of them knew how it had happened, but they accepted that because they had always had faith and hope, they had managed to change their fate. And they stayed forever Dreamers. P.S. If I can only win one, I'll probably change the bio/backstory a little, but for now I'm going to keep it the way it is. <3 -----------------------------------------------------------------
