Art by me, @Laminae Music is Dog Days are Over by Florence + the Machine a little video to show you guys my art process! space or click to rewatch :) here’s a piece i did for a dtiys on ig, i really loved how it turned out and i really enjoy watching my process for this one! for those wondering, my steps are: 1) sketch on paper and scan to my tablet 2) convert to procreate and refine 3) refine until the original sketch is at a lightly messy lineart quality 4) color and fully render skin 5) color and begin to render outside elements (eyes, the glowy bit, tears, etc.) 6) block out and render hair 7) add hair flyaways, bring forward 8) add overlays and fix any strange elements 9) finish refining outside elements 10) duplicate lineart layer and add blur effect 11) a bit more refining 12) sign 13) done!
