Every level has a gimmick. In the first level there are traps (small dots of orange). The second level has shrinking and growing. To shrink make the dog touch the S icon. To grow make the dog touch the G icon. If there is a glitch/bug pressing the R key will probably fix it. If you are playing in hard mode, pressing the R key will send you back to Level 1 and reset the timer back to 30. Note that sometimes you may die or teleport randomly. After you die you get teleported two times to prevent cheating
