0.05 is the magic number for most gifs, but the one shown uses 0 seconds instead of 0.05. Take a flag button and attach it to a forever, inside the forever is 'wait __ seconds' and 'next costume' fill the blank with 0.05, you may have to experiment with the numbers to find the right speed. 0.5 is slower than 0.05 or 0.005
