(edit: added more) weeee entered for the pirate dude im gonna add a lot more later this is just the drawing that i did today ive done some traditional stuff as well ill add those once i get through with school for the day anyways theres a long backstory so im gonna cut this short ------ Name: Fenric (Fen) Gavylar Gender: Trans male Sexuality: gay as all heck Personality: Fen is extremely cold and calculated, and it takes a lot to thaw that cold exterior. but, of one does manage to thaw it, hes actually extremely vulnerable and gullible, ready to do anything for those of whom he appreciates. He rarely lets this happen though, due to some demons. Before an incident, he was kind of a funny guy, although he would get annoyed very easily. Backstory: Fen is quite interesting, but he didn’t always look like this. I know, cliche, but he really wasn’t. He used to just be a totally normal highschool kid. He did sometimes refer to him as a rival of this kid named Ben, who also happened to be a class clown of sorts. Ben, however, wasn’t nearly outgoing or dependent on people, which led to others finding him mysterious and interesting. Fen, obviously, was jealous, but that’s besides the point. Just a heads up, this backstory is going to get very complicated, and might be very difficult to understand due to :sparkles: time travel :sparkles: so just ask me if youre confused and ill try to explain it to the best of my ability! Then something happened. Fen died. This is the story of how he died, and what happened after. His death wasn’t dramatic or anything, in fact, it happens quite early on in this backstory. Not for Fen though, it was almost an eternity before he passed away. I’m going to make this backstory as linear as possible, but with how much time travel takes place, it still is going to be very confusing. So, Fen storms out of class one day, and leaves. He goes to the library, as he had always found it to be quite peaceful and less stress inducing. There’s a strange book that he is drawn to. That’s never a good sign, but I never mention that Fen was exactly the smartest. He opens it. And what happens changes not only his life, but the lives of every single thing in the multiverse. Yes, multiverse. My stories take places in one large multiverse, which is important later. What happens when he opens the book? Well, in short, he releases demons. These demons had never been seen before, they had never been released before. They were the product of experimentation of gods. These demons cause certain emotions and just chaos in general. These emotions had been felt before these demons were released. The reason for this is that the demons are not bound by the laws of the multiverse. Time means nothing to them. They exist everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The emotions that they cause are honestly just a side effect of their arrival. What emotions are these? Insanity. Loss of perception of the world. Complete and total depression. Everlasting dreams and nightmares. Everything completely negative with no positive outcomes. That is their purpose. To cause chaos. And Fen released them into the world. There was one thing that the gods decided to do when the demons were sealed up. If anyone were to release them, then the demons would be bound to whoever release them. Unfortunately, the gods underestimated the power of the demons. A mere human couldn’t stand all of that power. In order to contain all of this energy and power, Fen’s body transformed slightly, making him partially demon. During the transformation, one of his eyes was completely ruined. Fen covered up that eye with an eyepatch in order to keep that failure hidden away. That’s right, he views it at a failure. He wanted to release the demons. This was all purposeful. Where did he hear about it? From himself, of course. Himself from the future. His recently deceased self, or at least a self that he thinks is recently deceased. Why did Fen want to release these demons? Other than having to complete a time loop, Fen gained the understanding that he would be able to control the demons if he released them. This turned out to only be partially correct, because at times of great stress, the demons can control him instead. Whenever the demons take over him, his one good eye turns completely black with one white pupil, and the third (well, technically second) eye on his forehead opens up. Fen realizes this mistake, and runs away. What he doesnt anticipate is the demons taking over him. The demons get him on a ship, and they sail away. I’m not going to go into detail about all of this, because this all take place over the course of hundreds of years. Basically, Fen is unable to age in this state. He still can die, but not as a result of demons, or of age. Someone can kill him, but if that were to happen, then his soul would persist. (cont)
(cont from above) Also, Fen is able to tame one of the more impressionable demons, who just so happens to be the demon of time. This demon’s name is most nearly unpronouncable, the closest approximation in the english language being “Ythacynir” (Yith-A-Sinner), but Fen decided to refer to him a Kree, short for Kree Chur. Why this silly name? Well Fen was a class clown. I suppose he still had a bit of silliness left within him. Speaking of which, when the demons were released, Fen became completely closed off, cold, and collected. He needed to stay that way if he were to maintain the demons. The demons hated being controlled, so they would constantly be looking for a way to access Fen and keep him from controlling them. Fen slowly became a master of controlling the demons, but in the process, he learned how to manipulate them. Fen became a villain of sorts. This eventually led to his downfall. Remember Ben from before? Well, Fenric sure did. Over the years, his spite continued to grow and grow towards the other boy, and the whole reason that Fen decided to learn how to manipulate the demons was so that he would be able to enact his revenge. Fenric is a very spiteful person, and very revenge driven. He will go out of his way every single time to make sure that he has the last laugh, and these revenge plots tend to be extremely wild and make sense to almost no one but him. After sailing the seas for hundreds of years, Fenric finally goes back in time once again to when he first left, and he actually passes his past self on the way there. He remembered being very confused when he saw a dark figure on a similar ship sail past him, but now being in the position of the dark figure, everything made sense. It was time to enact his revenge. This plan, unfortunately for Fen, failed. His plan was to give Ben a feeling of complete self-hatred and loneliness, not knowing that those feelings were something that Ben already felt regularly. Fen arrived at the school, but he became overwhelmed with stress for the first time in years, and the demons took over. Instead of granting those emotions to Ben, the feeling of revenge was transferred to an outsider. This outsider killed both Ben and Fenric. And yet, this story would be quite boring if it ended so abruptly. Fen’s soul partially persisted, and so did Ben’s, but for a different reason. Ben’s soul remained because of a godlike creature by the name of Beebo. This creature is the god of life and souls, and because Ben’s death was the result of a demon, his soul remained as to not cause the multiverse to implode. I am getting so tired of writing this let me see if i can wrap this up quickly- Basically Fen finds himself forward in time hundreds of years, and he see’s a ghost of himself and a rather normal looking Ben cornered by this evil dude person thing that has plans of controlling the entire world. There will be more to it later, but im tired. The not ghost Fen sees a bullet about to be fired at Ben, but sort of freezes up. Why should he save this guy? Well, turns out he doesn’t need to. Because the ghost Fen does it for him, while staring at the non-ghost Fen with a glare in his eyes. Fen then goes back in time to a few months before this scene, to just when Ben arrives in this future world. Why the future? That was the only way that Ben would be able to persist. Fenric is now a ghost, and Ben has been somewhat morphed with a rabbit for some reason, but only rarely does that actually show (hes able to like turn into a cartoon rabbit thing) and they begrudgingly journey together. In order for Ben to return to the past and continue living as normal, he was put in charge of saving the future. If someone were to go through with a plan that they had created, it would not only destroy the world, but an entire universe as a whole, which would end up affecting parts of the multiverse. So yada yada yada they grow closer and its pretty gay ngl. A few months later, Fen is once again thrown back in time to just when Ben dies for that first time. Fen drags Ben’s soul out of his body, and becomes the reason that Ben continues to live. Beebo was just the one that gave him a solid form in the future. Then he goes forward in time *again* and we see the scene at the beginning with Ben and the Fen ghost, except this time we see it from the Fen ghost’s perspective. So Fen dies for like the 50th time, and he is deemed worthy and is able to come back once Ben defeats that evil dude. They return back to their former bodies, and Fen is immediately overwhelmed. Ben had learned about Fenric a while back, so he helped him. Together, they returned the demons to their prison that they most definitely would be able to escape eventually. The only one that didn’t return was Kree, and that one just stuck around. Fen still remains half-demon, but stress now doesn’t cause demons to control him. art: me design: @cinnqwon
