this is scarlett, in 1988 she was a stray cat and was living in a garage. one day there was a fire and she ran into the fire 5 times to get her kittens. i read a book about her and her story is sad. she needed to live 3 months at the vet and one of her kittens, toasty, died a month after the fire from a virus. after the fire she needed eyedrops every day for the rest of her live. she died in 2006. (i think at least)
