Hello! I finally got the first scene of Castle Case scripted and ready for voice acting! Inside the project, I have included a "Director's Notes" sprite that I would like you to take a look at. There, you will find some very quickly and poorly done recordings of how the lines should sound. I just wanted to give a little more context to the emotions I want so we can hopefully improve this production. Again, these were quickly done, so please follow the emotions not the quality :) I've also included the script for the first scene below to give you some context. Character tip: Annabella is VERY energetic. There is a reason almost every one of her lines ends in an exclamation point :) She's the kind of character who's theme song is titled Princess Bubblegum (which it is).
Script for Scene 1: The Castle ------------------------------------------- Narrator: Welcome to Castle Jupiter, home to the royal family of Cianna. I hear someone coming! Annabella (entering): Who's there? Oh! I don't think I've seen you around here before! Reader: I'm a traveler and I'm not familiar with these parts. Annabella: It's so nice to meet you! My name is Princess Annabella! Welcome to my home. Reader: You're a princess? Wow! Annabella: [laughs] Yes! Hey, maybe since you are in the area, you can join us at the feast tonight! It's me and my brother Jasper's birthday today and we are going to have a great celebration! Danna (entering with Chris Reed): Annabella! Come Quick! Annabella: That's my mother, the queen! What's happening? Danna: Jasper is gone! The servants and I have looked everywhere for him! Do you know where he is?! Annabella: No! I've been here with this visitor. I haven't seen him in about two hours! Danna: I fear something terrible has happened to him! Our enemies have been waiting for the Perfect time to strike! We must find Jasper! Annabella: Can I help mother? I could lead the forces to find him! Danna: Annabella, I appreciate your offer, but that would be far too dangerous. If only the soldiers weren't out on that hunt, we would be able to get him back! Chris: My queen! If I may, maybe I could accompany the princess on her journey to save her brother! I could protect her! Danna: -Sighs- I still don't think so Sir Reed. Though you are strong, I still worry about Annabella getting lost in those great woods. Not many of our people venture there and I would break if she disappeared into them! Reader: If I might be of help Your Highness! I have traveled the forest many times in my travels and I know them quite well. Maybe I could lead your daughter and guard? Danna: And who are you? I do not recall seeing you here before. Reader: I am a traveler who has trekked all across your kingdom. I would be honored to help you. Danna: Annabella, I am worried out of my mind about your brother, and these people could help us. Do you promise to come home to me? Annabella: I can do this mother! I'll come back safe with Jasper in time for the feast. Danna: I hope so…
