ACCRAFT - Chapter 4

Instructions

As Bdubs passed me a spare pair of elytra, I began feeling the effects of my time in the ocean, everything began to ache and my head was throbbing, I tried to ignore it as I thanked Bdubs and equipped the elytra. I paused for a moment; I don't know how to fly in this thing. "Uhh Bdubs" I faltered "Yeah?" "I-I don't know how to use an elytra" Bdubs stared at me "You don't know how to use an elytra?" "Yeah..." "Well... uh... I'll teach you!" He took me through a few steps on how to stand and take off using a rocket and only a few minutes later we were in the air. I've never flown before so this was... interesting. "Tink! Can you please stop screaming, you're hurting my ears!" Bdubs yelled over me and the wind I snapped my jaw shut and quickly shot him an apologetic look. Bdubs pointed towards a few towers in the jungle we were flying over "The big blocky one is X's bee farm, we should land there" "You never taught me how to land!" "Crap." We arrived at the tower, Bdubs gracefully landing in the landing bay and me crashing into the floor of it, tumbling over myself a few times and skidding on my face close to the edge of the otherside, not falling off only because Bdubs grabbed my leg. Bdubs pulled me to the middle of the room and I sat up, panting "I swear, can I not have another near death experience today?" I heard someone laugh from the left of me, someone who was not Bdubs. I jerked my head towards them and was met with Doom-guy 2.0 "Not accustomed to landing?" Doom-guy 2.0 asked with a joyful expression on his face, well, what I could see of his face, he was wearing a mask. "No." I squeaked He walked over to me and offered a gloved hand, a calm aura about him "Xisuma" I hesitated but eventually took it, allowing him to help me up "Tink" "You new around here? As in this server?" he asked, cocking his head to the side and crossing his arms to get more comfortable. "I... I don't think so, I'm new to whatever this place is... but I got to get home, I don't really care about staying and exploring" I felt a sudden urge to dive out the window and find my way back. Xisuma nodded "Well, I need some info off you first" I frowned "What info? Why do you need it?" He waved a hand and shook his head dismissively "Y'know, Safety reasons, being the admin and all" judging about the way his eyes curved, he smiled. I liked this guy, he seemed chill "What do you need to know?" "I just need to keep an eye on every sentient being on this server, I've had some bad run ins with a few so I decided to keep track of who lives here. All I need are important coordinates and if there is anyone else I don't know about" "Seems... Reasonable.." I began "There are 19 of us and we go by the Allied Creators.... The coordinates...." I had a mental blank "Uh... -3567.... -4068... I think? I'm not sure how to follow coordinates..." "That's far! And 19? I'm surprised I've never heard of you guys, My friends have been all around the map!" I chuckled "We only got together recently, our newest member, Opti, only arrived a day ago!" Xisuma grinned and pulled up a couple of admin screens, typing a few things into them "There's 21 of us, We started to band together a long time ago, though, Grian joined us last season" He closed the screens with a quick flick of his hand and turned to me "We come and go, so we're missing a few friends... Anyway, we better be getting you home, I assume?" Bdubs cleared his throat from the corner of the room "Tink, don't you want to say a few words to Doc?" "Oh right" I smiled sheepishly Xisuma raised an eyebrow "Apology" I mewed quickly He nodded "Well come to me when your done, I can escort you home" "Thanks" Bdubs gestured to follow him and jumped out the landing bay, using a rocket to blast him into the sky. I followed in suite, less gracefully than him.
