I see so many rants on art theft, homophobia, and that kind of stuff. I mean, that's great and those are all big issues, but there are a few topics that never get addressed that I need to bring up because they're also important issues. (I'm sorry if these feel like I'm coming at you or attacking you, but these are some things that NEED TO STOP.) The first issue. Not giving credit to character designers smh. Not to call anyone out, but I see this happen a lot and quite frankly, it's getting annoying. The designer of a character IS JUST AS IMPORTANT TO CREDIT AS THE OWNER. And if you don't know who designed it, if there was any designer who wasn't the owner, just ask the owner smh. But if I see you not giving credit for a character from a DT you own or a character you're entering for in a DTA, I will not hesitate to report you. Is that clear? You may not be directly stealing art, but you're not giving credit to the designer of the character. And when you don't give credit, people assume you're the designer. And that's character theft if you're giving people the assumption you designed the character. AND CHARACTER THEFT IS JUST AS BAD AND VALID AS ART THEFT. And onto the next issue. Not reading the description before commenting. UGGGH! I see this happen WAY TOO MUCH. Descriptions often contain very important things! Like FAQS and such! And if you didn't read them before commenting and you get people angry at you, it's your own fault for not reading the description. And the last important issue I never see addressed. Acting like the person who is posting a story is the only author. This one's simple. @PetalsSilversteam is not the only author of Midori Magica! I'm not the only author of PMCM! If it's stated that it's a collaborative story, then there's more than one author. I specifically stated IN THE TITLE AND DESCRIPTION OF PMCM THAT @BLUESTARMOONSONE WROTE ABOUT HALF THE STORY AND OWNS A LOT OF THE CHARACTERS AND WE'RE CO-AUTHORS. And yet I still get people saying "I love your work on PMCM, Wyyn" I STG I'M NOT THE ONLY AUTHOR! I never see Mal getting comments like that! Mal owns Capella. Mal owns Glory. Those are the characters she owns out of the ones we've introduced so far. I only own Coral out of the characters we've introduced so far. I know you're trying to compliment me when you say things like that, but it is hurtful. I don't have to spell it out for you. IT'S SO SIMPLE. I'M NOT THE ONLY AUTHOR OF PMCM!
