Hi humans! Read the project before you read this. Ok, so here's where this theory came from In ELA we were learning about Santa, and as a proud film/food/game theorist I come up with theories all the time, so when she said that he was also called saint Nicholas, I came up with this theory. Is Santa Nicolas Flamel? Ok, let me explain. Santa is immortal, and so is Nicolas Flamel. Nicolas Flamel created the philosopher's stone, (yeah, that's a real thing, not just something J.K. Rowling made up), and the philosopher's stone grants immortality. Christmas was invented, according to whychristmas, "The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine." Saint Nicholas was born on March 15, 270 AD, so pretty close... (Ok so Constantine died May 22, 337 AD, so only about 60 years...) TRICKED YA! Roman emperor constantine was born in 280 AD, so it is close! But... Nicholas was born in 1330... ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm... hehehe... I WIN INTERNET!!! Wizarding world says " The real Nicolas Flamel – because he was a real person – was probably born in 1330" PROBABLY!!!! I WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So there is a BIG chance he was from 270 AD because he is immortal! People probably lost track (or didn't care) and Nicholas remained hidden! So there you have it. Santa is Nicholas Flamel. Let me know if you have anything to say about this in the comments. Have a great Christmas!
