This is basic programming. The rainbow cat will pick a number from 1 through the max, and when you press space, the square and cube will appear. Press space again to change numbers. The maximum bar sets what you want your maximum square to be, and the quick buttons set it to their specified number. The quick max button lets you set your maximum by typing it in. If your max is a word, the number should always be 1. The #Set button (number set) lets you set which number you want the number to be.
This should help my fellow Algebra students in memorizing all of the squares up to 25!
