the character moves within a large scrolling background. In every direction moving left to right are infinite clouds, but these always are just four clones of the same sprite. When the character reaches a left-right background border, the background stops moving but the character can proceed. Ie the character is always centered, except at the left and right borders. (The black lines in the background are only to show the movement of the character.)
