Katara saved the avatar cycle, twice. Once in the iceberg, again when aang was killed in the avatar state and she healed him. She was the reason avatar korra was born, as zuko would have found aang in the ice, and ozai would have likely killed him. without katara, aang would either still be in the iceberg, or have died from azula or ozai. She even saved zuko from azula's lightning, even after zuko betrayed them and joined azula's side once again. Katara is the real hero of the series. Zuko. One of the best story arcs in any series i have ever seen, and also a very likeable character in general. He joined the side of the people he despised, and immediately began to gush about iroh. He loves his uncle, even after iroh defends katara and aang after azula potentially kills the avatar, and learns his destiny, not alongside azula, but against. Zuko truly is a great character, and easily one of the most likeable of the series. Iroh. iroh is one of those characters that you just can't hate, he always does the right thing for the right people. He even betrayed his nephew to save katara and aang when aang would've died, and even taught a mugger who tried to rob him to be a better person. there is not many ways you can think of iroh badly, even if he did try to conquer ba sing se.
