Welcome to ScratchBeats! ScratchBeats is based off of the popular VR game BeatSaber. This game requires a keyboard (not mobile compatible) and is currently EXPERIMENTAL, meaning some features might not work properly. ▶Gameplay Instructions◀ Use the 1,2,3, or 4 keys on your number bar to break blocks when they approach the green line. The closer they are, the more points you get. You can also get a "combo", where you can break several blocks that are really close to each other for extra points! Your streak increases every time you hit a block, and can slightly boost your score, but it'll reset back to 0 if you miss. The blocks will line up with the music (read troubleshooting if they don't). Leaderboard: Compete with players around the world for the best score! The top 5 players in each song (currently only Crab Rave) will be displayed in the global leaderboard. More information can be found in the Notes and Credits section. Have fun!
I made this for a school project, which is why it's a lot simpler than my typical project. Currently there's only Crab Rave because songs take forever to make but I might add some later on. Bugs ang glitches: ▶PLEASE READ CAREFULLY◀ (troubleshooting): 1.) Lag might cause the notes to not match up. In case this happens, click the green flag. 2.) The start menu might bug out a little bit after you return to it. The transition to gameplay part might also bug out. Press the flag again or simply ignore it (it doesn't affect gameplay). 3.) If you're not a Scratcher (ie. you don't have an account or are a New Scratcher) your high scores won't be saved. This is a Scratch policy, not mine, so sorry about that. You might also get a few connection issues if you're not a Scratcher or have an unstable connection. </> BE SURE TO REPORT ANY ADDITIONAL GLITCHES IN THE COMMENTS! </> The game will collect a very limited amount of identifying material about you for the global leaderboard. If you wish to remain anonymous, simply log out and come back. Be sure to ❤ and ⭐ it first if you enjoyed it since you won't be able to do so while logged out :) All songs used belong to their rightful owners, which are listed directly underneath the title of their work.
