ok, so I've started to notice that ranting accounts like mine are starting to become a mini-trend, and I kind of just want to address some points before you go and make one <3 1) have something in mind to talk about before making the account. I wrote out my first rant before making the account, and it was something big and important that really needed to be said. if you don't have some big message to get across, there's no need to make an account to post things like this on. that will just lead to another oversaturated genre of scratch projects, with dozens of projects saying basically the same thing because no one can think of anything else to say. write before impulsively creating the account. 2) could you say the same thing on your main account? is it really something you need anonymity for? I felt like I had to create this account because I was scared of what people would think of my rants, and because they didn't really fit the kind of content I make on my main account, but if you don't really /need/ a separate account to rant on, don't make one. 3) are you willing to debate? if the things you talk about are truly controversial and radical, there will be people who disagree, and the line between disagreement and disrespect is a fine one. in just a few days on this account, I've gotten more hate and rude comments than I've ever gotten on my other account. you have to be able to swallow it up and keep going. I think that's about it <3 I'm not trying to discourage anyone from creating an account like this - I'm just letting you know what you're getting yourself into, because it was definitely more than I would have expected <3
