Within each of these categories, art is sorted from oldest to newest. ________________________________________ Traditional Art: 1. I don't know, a little doodle of a girl with long blond hair. I was practicing drawing different poses at the time, so she's sitting down. (I despise this drawing) This was drawn a pretty long time ago. It's funny how much you can improve after a few months. 2. A character in a story I never finished! Yeah, I really don't like this, but I posted it anyways (ggghhh she's awful) Again, pretty long time ago. 3. Character design! I think her name is Cindy. 4. My character Kat. If you've ever watched Avatar: The Last Airbender, she's a kind of Toph-like character-rebellious but polite and quiet around company due to her overprotective parents. Oh yeah, and she's a mermaid. 5. My oldest character, Imogen Nyx. She's gone through so many redesigns, but this is her current outfit. When I look through the older designs, the things that remained consistent was the fact that she had at least one really long braid, and dark skin. in one of my favorite designs, she has two really long pink braids. 6. Sketches! I decided to pick a random number-6-and then go online and search for girl. The sixth image that popped up on google images would inspire my drawing. The image had a little African girl. One of the things that really stood out for me was a bright blue necklace of little stone beads she had on. So that was translated into the final piece. These are the sketches for the finished illustration on the next page. 7. There she is! Somehow, I aged her from really young, to pretty old, but I don't really care, I like her anyways. 8. Character design for one of my newer characters-Lillith. Haven't really come up with much of a backstory for her yet. 9. A drawing made with Ohuhu markers. For some reason when I scanned it, a lot of the color was leeched out. It's a lot brighter in real life. Anyway, I was really proud of this one, because I thought it looked kinds pretty. I tried something different-colors first, lineart second. 10. A sketch page. I dunno, I kinda like these. 11. Another sketch page! I don't really like the colored sketch. My favorite is the one on the bottom right. I think it's kinda expressive. The one to the left of that, I think I started drawing Azula, then lost interest and just ended her like a random girl. Digital Art (Autodesk Sketchbook): 12. I was doing a thing where I drew a bunch of close ups of faces with different expressions on them...I don't know. I kind of like the colors maybe? 13. Same thing as above, except I like this one a lot better. 14. ^Don't like her as much. 15. ^ She's fine I guess. 16. A random drawing of a girl. I like her, I suppose. I felt inspired when I drew that sweater... 17. Three color challenge! I usually allow myself to choose a skin color, but the other three colors were randomly chosen. 18. Clothing design for one of my characters. I haven't decided on her name yet. 19. I was practicing drawing different poses, so here's someone sitting cross-legged. I'm realizing that most people don't sit like that when they're cross legged. Oh well. 20. I was watching Floor is Lava on Netflix, and I felt inspired, so I drew someone swinging from a vine in a jungle. You know, going a different way than on the ground? I don't think she likes traveling by vine though...I was also practicing a different way of coloring. 21. Same as number 19, practicing drawing different poses. I kinda like this one. Digital Art (Procreate): 22. A witchy girl. My first drawing on procreate, so I was just experimenting sorta. Therefore, a rather boring pose. 23. Drawing in my cartoony style. Ever feel inspired by a pose you drew? Ever lined it and drew it in an outfit that showed off as much of the pose as possible without baggy clothing covering it? Ever finish drawing said art and then wondered why the heck you drew it? (Credit to google for the image of the beach in the background that I blended) 24. My character Trixie, in cartoon form. She lives in some cold place, but I don't exactly know where. Any suggestions? 25. Random girl. Practicing drawing different body shapes in my cartoon style. She's kind of cute, I suppose. 26. A mermaid I drew last night (New Years Eve) in my cartoon style while I was on a meet with my family (aka, a whole lot of people). I kinda sorta, really like her. And her adorable fish friend. I have no idea what is going on with her arm though. That's it! Happy 2021 everyone!
All art and coding is by me. Credit to Google for the background of number 23.
