✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿ I tried out a new art style when making this, because I'm thinking of changing my current one. It's not a big change, just adding more fur on the legs and neck. I think it adds a lot more to the art. Hope you like my entry @_Cat_Birb_ ! (I might make a pmv of the backstory if i can find a good song for it. Im working on a pmv for night lights tho so i might not have time) ✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿ Bio: Name: Blossom Gender: Female Personality: Gentle, kind, empathetic ✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿ Backstory (REALLY long sorry ^^") Birds flew out from bushes as a young cat dashed through them to get to the meadow. Cherry blossom petals drifted down around her. She had always felt at home amongst the many kinds of flowers in the meadow. "Blossom! Where are you?" A voice squeaked. "Here!" Blossom mewed to a white and tan cat that was as young as she was. As the other cat approached, Blossom whispered "Isn't it beautiful here Lily?" Eyes wide in awe, Lily replied "It's better than beautiful! It's amazing how there are so many colors here." The two cats stared running through the flowers together, squealing with joy. Everything was perfect. Then a flash of orange caught the side of Blossom's vison. She felt as if her paws had grown roots and stuck her to the ground. Lily noticed that her friend's fur on end and turned around. "What's wrong?" She asked. Blossom felt the words catch in her throat. She remembered the fox that had killed her mother so many moons ago. The savage look in it's eyes as it lunged at her mother. Its razor sharp teeth. Her mother's yowl of pain as it attacked. Blossom huddled in a thicket of brambles where her mother had shoved her when she saw the fox. "Blossom!" Lily's voice brought Blossom from her terrible thoughts. "F-fox. I saw orange fur." Blossom finally squeaked out. As if her words summoned it, the fox came through the flowers, teeth barred, eyes gleaming at the sight of the two young cats. "Run!" Lily shouted. Terror grasped Blossom. Lily shoved Blossom, and finally she was snapped out of her haze of fear. Running as fast as their legs could take them, they hared away from the fox. Paws thudded against the ground behind them. "There! A rabbit burrow!" Lily quickly veered off toward it. Blossom turned to follow, but the fox blocked her path. Behind her was a outcrop of rock blocking the other way. The fox had cornered her. "Help! Lily!" Blossoms desperate mews sliced through the air. The fox's teeth met her skin, then it's claws contacted her eye. Yelping in pain she attempted to move away but the fox held on. A loud yowl sounded from behind. The fox spun around. A gray & white female cat with yellow splotches leaped onto the fox. Claws out, she slashed the fox quickly, then leaped to the other side and lashed out again. The fox growled in frustration. Then the cat ran at the fox, ducked under it, and slashed its legs. The fox's legs buckled and it fell to the ground. Yelping in surprise, it ran off. Blossom let out a moan of pain. Everything stared to go burry around her. The cat that saved her was the last thing she saw before her vison went black. ✿+-.-+✿ Blossom awoke to the sound of birds chirping. Lily was waiting beside a female cat. 'The one that saved me' Blossom remembered. "Are you ok?" Lily asked with a worried glance. "I think so. Where are we?" Gazing around, she was in the cover of trees, not the open meadow where the fox attacked. "Starling let us stay with her." Lily replied. Starling got up and padded toward her. "That's a nasty injury the fox left you with." For the first time, Blossom noticed how she could feel wind where her eye was suppose to be. She looked around and saw a puddle by a tree stump. Reluctantly she looked at her reflection. Blossom felt sick to her stomach with what she saw. Instead of another golden eye, there was a black hole in her face. "It's not the worst thing ever." Staring said gently. With her teeth, she tenderly plucked a burgundy flower from a bush. "If it bother you that much, you can put this there." Blossom put the flower up to her face with a paw. "Thank you, thank you so much for what you did for me and Lily." The three of them sat together, knowing that this would be a turning point in there lives. ✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿+-.-+✿
