Behold, a new project! For those curious, Aloreca is an original fantasy world/story I created. This project is based on that. The username stuff in the project shouldn't be much of a bother to anyone, its just a thing to help me tweak the project and sort out any bugs/glitches To start, press the flag. If you wanna reroll everything, press space. You can turn the music off and on with the yellow music note button in the top right corner. This is a huge work in progress, please note that I intend to add a lot to this, so expect a bunch of updates. This is a character generator based on the world of my story, which I call Aloreca. I plan on adding more info about the world and stuff later on, whether it's in the project or a link to a document of some sort. Also if you're confused about a certain thing, it is probably explained inside the project in the form of a comment attached to some coding. I don't explain everything, but there's some explanations there. Most notable thing that might be confusing is the Magic Potential/Power thing. For now, I can give a quick description of the world. "Aloreca is a fantasy world. It starts out as a sort of alternate Earth, with the same physics and similar history to Earth, just a different map. One day, an evil man attempts to mess with other dimensions and cause chaos with them. He is defeated, but not before he accidentally creates a magical glitch. This glitch then starts to change the world, morphing it over millions of years into a world full of all sorts of sentient creatures and magic."
Almost everything (coding, art, etc.) is made by me The concept of souls belongs to Toby Fox (Undertale/Deltarune) The background music is Betrayal of Fear by Goukisan Name easter eggs come from various different sources, most notably The Hunger Games books, Fish in a Tree (book), Ask My Mood Ring How I Feel (book), Undertale/Deltarune, Terraria + its mods, and more The music for a hidden easter egg belongs to the developers of Among Us and The Henry Stickmin Collection I would note that the head and eye does not accurately track any appearance related thing generated. I'm not skilled enough at coding to make the head change based on the appearance, and the eye is supposed to represent the soul trait. If you have any ideas, feel free to share them! I'd love to hear you're thoughts and improve this! Update Log: 1/22/21: Update log added, new soul sprite 1/22/21: New disease/coating soul trait sprite, new race, bugs squashed 1/23/21: More names 2/26/21: More names, improved coding 3/1/21: Magic Potential/Power added 3/3/21: Tweaked coding, more names 4/1/21: Changed project name due to major updates to story (much bigger and takes place over millions of years now), added new races (not all of them have sprites yet, for now they have placeholders) and some new names 8/18/21: Finally got school laptop back. Added Astelaites as a possible race, and a few name components 9/1/21: Lots of work this session. Re added Ushainites because they somehow disappeared, added a new Time Period and Time Era thing, Periods are large periods of time in the timeline and Eras are smaller time periods within the periods. These time periods/eras are based off of the race due to how the story timeline works. Will have to iron out other things to work with new races, places, etc. later on 9/2/21: Updated background and music to better fit updated story, also updated music button to change depending on whether music is turned on or off
