She was always very unattached to her adopted family. At a young age she decided to leave her family, although she was entirely welcome to stay. She decided to travel as far away from her past as she could. Soren met a pair of cats who sheltered and loved her like their daughter, but she started missing the independent life. After announcing her decision to leave, they argued with her and Soren ran away. She followed the road, but found herself in a dry, hot mess of orange desert and stone. She met a tom named Thomas there who lived peacefully with his family. She stayed there for a couple days. Before she left, she promised she would come and see them again. Soren went back to her two friends and apologized. She stayed with them, until she had been forced by her birth parents to be separated with her "guardian angel". She was lied to by a tom named Chase she had met earlier. After her near-death experience when they tried to remove her "guardian angel" Chase admitted to loving her. Soren admitted she too had feeling for him. After she was healed, Chase asked her to come with him. Soren said she would think about it, but she ended up returning to Thomas. That was a bit more than condensed, but . . . eh well. If you read that whole entire story, well, good for you.
