Otherwise he is respectful of others’ boundaries.) ) ) b a c k s t o r y ( ( For the first six years of his life, he grew up happily with his animus Nightwing father, Timeturner, and his Skywing mother, Ember. His mother taught him to hunt (just normal prey, not dragons-) and his father taught him to read. He spent much more time with his mother, as his father often spent time by himself doing... research. Everything changed, however, when his father finally snapped. He returned from a solo hunting trip to father attacking her, going for the neck. His father’s intentions were clearly set, and so once he landed his blow, Bloodmoon lept, counting on the element of surprise and his much smaller size to grant him the time and the agility he needed. He was victorious, although left badly wounded (that’s where most of his scars are from). With both his mother and father now d3ad, he had to find somewhere else to go. He eventually found himself among the Animus Hunters and was raised for the remainder of his years by them. This lifestyle gave him his characteristic strong resolve, and with the skills he learned from his mother and the other hunters, he gradually worked his way to the top. (Also, the earring he’s wearing was his mother’s; before he left, he took it off of her body and kept it as something to remember her by.)
