As a New Zealander, this is very relatable. New Zealand was some of the last land discovered on earth, being discovered by the Maori people around 925 AD, and then spotted by Abel Tasman in 1642. New Zealand is always being left off world maps. At one point, somebody put together as many images of world maps that had New Zealand missing from it.
