full screen recommended, and very, VERY mild epilepsy warning. its finally done! ive been working on this for a while now. its very experimental (which youll really quickly see if you look through the janky and horribly unoptimized code). i tried a lot of new things with this project, so i present to you- a Picross level maker! wait, whats picross? About Picross ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Picross puzzles, also known as Nonograms, Paint by numbers, Griddlers, and Pic-a-Pix are a type of number logic puzzle. It's similar to sudoku. These puzzles take place on a grid, with each box on the grid either being in one of two states, filled-in, or blank. In addition to the boxes, there are numbers at the top and left sides of the square. These numbers, usually referred to as "hints" or "clues" tells the player how many filled-in blocks will take up the row that the number is placed on. For example a "8" over the 5th vertical column would indicate 8 filled-on blocks. Keep in mind that if to be considered 8, the blocks have to all be filled in a row. for example, let's imagine this wacko line I tried to draw using circles is a row in the grid. oooooo●●●●●o See how there's 5 filled-in spaces? That would make the hint of that a row a 5. But look at this- ooo●●o●●●ooo There's still 5 dots in TOTAL, but the 5 dots aren't in a row. They're separated. So, instead of the hint saying 5, it would say 2 3. The 2 would represent the first row of dots, and the 3 would represent the second line of dots. ...Ok, I think that's it. I know that was a terrible explanation, so I advise you look up a tutorial or something (or at least something with better visuals then literal text inputs). I know it's a lot, but just trust me, Picross is a really fun game! Controls/Instructions ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ arrow keys = move hammer thingy z = break rock x = mark off so imma stop talking in proper capitalization now because its so annoying- anyway, to make a puzzle, click the make button. yes, i know. so, basically, just chisel the rock (by breaking it) into a pattern that you like. then, press space to show the code. you can copy and paste in the comments for other people to play! if you want to load up a picross puzzle somebody else made, just enter the code into the somewhat ill-mannered play button on the right. the puzzle hints will load up, and youll have to use them to chisel away the same pattern. and then, you can celebrate with! an epic dance party q(≧▽≦q) ok bye level codes ig lol ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ here are some of the levels that i made, that you can try out! because, im like, 90% sure nobody will actually comment their own level codes here not sure why i made a whole new section for this...but here you go!
