space press a to see a little animation, press b to hide it hello i love them so much i am giving them a hug thank you and goodnight Name: Ythru Gender: unknown/nonbinary Personality: a little trickster, if a bit depressed. they will crack jokes at any point, no matter what, but from the things they have seen, its impossible for them to be completely sane. Species: a demon of sorts Backstory: Ok, i dont have much of a backstory yet, and everything that im writing down is something that i literally just came up with. anyways, here we go Ythru (pronounce "Yith Rue") wasn't always the way how they are now. Isn't that always how it is? Regardless of the cliche, its still quite the interesting story of how they ended up this way. They were originally just a child by the name of Lordic. Lordic was also non-binary. This child.. didnt have a great life. They wanted nothing more than to just roam around, playing tricks on people. But their parents hated them. Why did their parents have a child? Who knows. Lordic, as mentioned before, loved playing tricks on people. It fueled them. Too bad their parents refused to let them do anything. By anything, I mean anything. They saw their child as a "troublemaker", someone who didn't deserve to be here. Their parents would have killed them if it wouldn't have gotten the parents in heaps of trouble. Now, skipping around a bit, they wished to be free of this terrible life, able to do whatever they wanted. Keep in mind, this child is about 11 at this point. Someone heard Lordic's wish. Too bad the creature that heard was a demon. Xion, the demon of falsifications and bargaining. The demon known for making wishes come true, but in an unexpected an unwanted way. This is exactly what happened to Lordic. Lordic was kicked out of their house because their parents found out that they were non binary. Im not going to explain the next part in detail because im lazy and it would take ages to explain, but basically, Xion chases Lordic around for years. Lordic assumes that this demon is trying to catch them, but in reality, Xion never cared about that. The demon wanted the child's spirit to weaken, allowing it to be corrupted, which, due to this only happening in one timeline, would turn Lordic into a minor demon. Not that Xion wouldn't kill Lordic if they got the chance, they absolutely would. Eventually, after a few years of struggling, Xion was able to kill Lordic. But Xion seemed to make a miscalculation. They misinterpreted the amount of spirit that Lordic had. This resulted in Lordic becoming a demon way too early, and they still had full control of their actions and thoughts. They were still fully conscious, unlike most demons. But the demon that Lordic became, Ythru, was prepared for the body of an 11 year old, and still contained many of the thoughts and desires of the 11 year old. So what was the first thing Ythru did? Wreck havoc throughout their entire neighborhood from years ago. Time means nothing to demons, so they were able to cause trickery throughout their household right after the child Lordic was kicked out. They did this for years. Perhaps it was a bit spiteful. They enjoyed every moment of this. Only after this long did the intensity of the situation really start to dawn on them. They were stuck in this demonic form for who knows how long. Why were they like this? They had no idea what was going on, or why it took them this long to start thinking about it. Then everything went black, and they woke up in a new place. This was the place where all demons resided, a place between the mortal and deceased plane. The Beyond. Ok i really dont feel like typing much more, but basically they try to figure out how to leave, encounter like 50 different demons, and eventually is able to leave. but they dont change back to their original form. That form is dead. also, when they first turned into this form, they lost all of their memories. They had to gather these memories and put the pieces of their own story together. When they finally do escape, they are granted help from the gods. They dont make them a god, but rather make them a neutral being, someone not trapped anywhere. It was the most merciful ending that the gods could have given them. Yeah thats it for now. dang this would make a cool video game anyways that took too long dont leave me alone with characters i can and will come up with complex and ambiguous backstories in 3 minutes
