The Knives A short story by @-Bunnylover-123 and @style987/@SummerIcicle Note: This story is rated PG-13 for some violence in the prologue. If you don’t like violence then feel free to skip over the prologue. AVERT YOUR EYES IF YOUR PARENTS DON’T APPROVE OF VIOLENCE. Prologue I look at the knife. It was splattered and stained with dried blood. I felt cold, and I trembled and shivered. Then I glanced around nervously asking, “He-hello? W-wh-hoo’s there?” I croaked out, my voice suddenly dry as sandpaper. A dark cloak swept out at me and I screamed. A knife came whirling at my head, and I barely dodged it. I stepped back. Crunch. I gasped. I stepped on a-what was it? It was cloth. I quickly pulled the hood back...and a dead face stared back out at me. The cloaked figure had run away and left behind...a clue. And, a blood-stained knife. Who was the murderer? And just who was this cloaked figure? I wondered.
So, I may have experienced a horror unit earlier this school year...We ended up writing this as a result earlier back in September. This is a series. We’re planning to write a fourth one too.
