Over the past few months I've been here, a lot of scratchers have been giving up, saying Scratch has been "too toxic" or "too negative" But it's our own fault. Everyone aspires to be famous. they want to be known. But a lot of people have been telling them it's not about that. Scratch is a place of creativity. Not fame. Not at all. "But a lot of people have fame!" Yes, big projects created by famous scratchers get fame. But that shouldn't put you down. huntedskelly clearly states in his Unfamous episode 6: "Everyone starts at zero." And he wouldn't say that if it weren't true. No one would. But he said it because it is. "But I want fame! I want followers!" Then earn it! People get followers because of their talent! Because of their hard work! You don't get fame in a snap, it takes days, weeks, months maybe! But don't let it get to you. If a project doesn't have enough likes or favorites, it doesn't matter. Never has. It just shows that the other people appreciate the project, and the hard work put into it. And it doesn't mean a project with only 10 likes doesn't mean they don't appreciate you. So stop thinking that way. A lot of people have said this, multiple times. "Scratch isn't about the fame." But the point never came across. So I'm here to tell you just that. And hopefully, this comes across. From person to person. Because I am not famous. I can't be famous in a snap. But you know what I can do? I can be creative, and safe, and friendly to others. Because the guidelines are still up. And I'm gonna follow it.
