Helloo :)) so uh here's ma entry for @la_wonder 's DTA I decide to enter for the 2nd design (Queen) I reeeally need to get firealpaca on the ipad like- weeell I was trying some more advanced shading (I think It turned out well; idk) and theeeen kleki decided to freeze up :C Bioo: Name: Chihiro Gender: she/her Personality: Timid, curious...- Likes: Nature soft stuff Dislikes: wood spirits (see back story :P) bears; sorta, tents <time for thine backstory -_-> Chihiro was the last standing person in the royal family. After an uprising of the people her parents - the king and queen - had been killed. As she’s running away from her old kingdom, she encounters a strange girl living in a nearby wood. Umi- the girl had lived with the mountain black bear who had migrated to the woods a thousand years earlier. They had live happily there but soon the trees began to mysteriously rot and die. On an exploration Umi found the cause of it. A wood spirit had begun to move into the forest after being pushed out of their old land. The spirits made their homes by making nests in trees. When they made their nest a poison from their claws seeps into the trees causing the roots to rot. Umi is stubborn and does not want to have anything to do with Chihiro; she only learns this munch from overhearing Umi talking to one of the bears. Or at least it seemed like she talked aloud to the bears and they were able to talk telepathically back to her. Deciding that she did not want to have anything to do with Umi either Chihiro continued across the strange land but getting no further than a mile she soon encounters a wood spirit. The brown worm-like creature was burrowing into a tree. Chihiro nervously walked away from the spot where it had been burrowing only to encounter one of the bears, she had seen with Umi. “Umi would like talk to you,” the bear did not speak but Chihiro could hear its deep rumbling voice echoing in her head. “Co-ome.” Almost propelled by some outer force Chihiro felt helpless and had no other choice but to follow the beast back into the woods. Soon they arrived at Umi’s “camp” a small tent was propped against a tree a bear slumbered noisily by the tent, its side heaving up and down. Umi beckoned her inside the small messy tent just as a drop of rain splattered the ground. Chihiro could see that the bear was conversing with Umi, but the girl only answered in nods- no words. The small “room” inside the tent did not serve much protection. Umi must be used to living outside for she did not join Chihiro in the small protection that the tent gave. A small smile was on Umi’s face as she began. “The bears have forced me to decide- if you are going to stay here- will you help us drive away the wood spirits? As you can see, they are damaging the forest it is no longer a safe place for any of the animals.” Chihiro hesitated before answering- she had not planned on a long stay in the forest, but relies now that she might have to stay for, she had no sense of direction anymore. Umi and the two bears could provide protection- and it might prove to be even fun to help drive away the wood spirits. Chihiro was soon to realize it would be anything but “fun” to drive the spirits away. They were as dangerous as the bears- more so, despite their small size. The poison there claws gave out was deadly, and there weren’t just the small worm sized creatures she had seen earlier that day, even Umi didn’t know what she was getting into. It might have been better to flee but running away from danger was not part of Umi’s personality. “er- yes!” Chihiro said without much more thought about the wood spirits. heh hope u enjoyed my rather *long* story- I might finish it later but for now lets just leeeaaave ittttt >:D
