another edit: i redid the first half and i hate it even more but it was fun to do that perspective thing IT'S DONE IT'S SHARED THERES NO GOING BACK you can't lose a part if there's no competition :0 (not that the few people that HAVE signed up aren't qualified--) THIS PROCREATE PROJECT HAD 68 LAYERS *BEFORE* I HAD TO CHANGE AN ENTIRE SECTION OF THIS S I X T Y E I G H T i just wanted to do something cool and aesthetic like most of the other animators in this map and somehow it turned into a vent? by the way you are currently experiencing a rare event called "guster wont talk about their vent because of the clout" i want to but i dont because too many people are going to see this it was interesting stepping out of my comfort zone on this, because i dont usually do smooth, lineart/blocky abstract stuff like this but hey, if most of the animators are doing it i might as well try it right? well as it turns out, vector animators probably use this map style because it's easy to do with the reshape tool and all? im not a fan (of vector or the animation style) so i just used procreate to do whats probably the smoothest animation ive done in a while its simple really honestly though, onion skin layers are a lifesaver i hate the first part and im really proud of the second part go figure this SHOULD be short enough i should have figured there was a reason that not many people had picked this part luckily there wasn't as big of a problem with cramming all the frames in there like there was with... some other parts *glances at won't die young 19* anyway enjoy - credits - music - breathe by inverness map host - @Haven2025 art/animation/coding - @guster-animations program used - procreate (did you actually come down here for the program? bruh, i wrote it above this) playlists listened to - breathe (on repeat), hiveswap act 2 ost, part of homestuck vol. 9 time taken - 4-5 hours (good map parts usually dont take less than four, kids) the clout from the studio and the remix list could go either of two ways: it's incredibly disappointing to me and gives me like five loves OR it gets a hundred loves and i drown in the follow/love/favorite/comment notifs im not sure which would be worse probably the disappointing one actually arent you proud of me for actually doing something with myself like in terms of animation like drawing myself, ive been animating plenty this last week oh whatever
