This is modeled after Benedetti's Puzzle in music. It demonstrates some quirks of using the just intonation pitch tuning system. He composed this puzzle to show off the syntonic comma effect of using this tuning system, where as you repeat this single measure of notes the pitch of each note slowly rises.
