This project is a kickstarter, the plan is already in place, I am just taking last minute feedback before I create the website and get this project up and running. If you are interested, please read below: Due to Covid 19, most food banks do to not give as much this year, we have a responsibility to keep giving, especially when things get tough this year. My plan is to start this company called the Can Campaign, but cans are not the only thing you could give. I am going to make a website soon after all of my planning is in place: I am working on getting in touch with grocery stores, so that someone can donate at the cash register a can, there would be a sign outside that says "Free cans". This way, every time someone donates, the staff puts a can on the shelf near the sign so that if people are not comfortable giving cans face-to-face, they can donate this way. this will get more and more people familiar with the can campaign. I am planning on sending out flyers, so that people can also find out that way. I also plan on talking to people at the homeless shelter and just around the street to ask what they regard as a very valuable item, vs those that are not. It would be cool to (after Covid) meet some volunteers, and give out cans as a group. I am currently trying to find maps and places where we can find these people experiencing homelessness. Also, just reading down this far is farther than most people get, so I hope you donate a can or a cou0ple cans.
