✉ Information: More about the hijab: In islam, men are required to lower their gaze when they approach a women, and its mandatory to cover everything between their naval till their knees, thats their form of hijab. In islam, women wear outfits to cover everything except their hands, face, (and feet but thats debated upon) thats our form of hijab, women also dont have to wear hijab infront of some types of people, they are called mehrems. Mehrem people include people such as your father, brother, uncle (directly a sibling of one of your parents, not one of your parents brother in law,) nephews, son, husband and any other women. Hijab is mandatory when the age of puberty is reached, however its encouraged to start at a young age to learn and get used to it for when your older. So, this is a little bit of a different project, recently I've been experiencing peoples thinking's and opinions about the hijab, and i found many of what people said was a misconception, they think Islam doesn't give women rights like men. That may have came up after people have seen our way of observing hijab, additionally, it may have occurred due to some countries forcing hijab upon Muslimahs, but here is the thing, in Islam, you can not force a person who doesn't wear hijab to wear it, you cant bully them or talk bad about them for not wearing hijab, because who knows? maybe they are a better Muslim than others. So when you come across a person who doesn't wear hijab, you encourage and teach them, then its up to them, they either take the advice or leave it, you did your part and that's enough. So that shows some people in those countries are inshallah doing wrong, they aren't always doing what Islam teaches in this case. I personally know a few people who don't wear hijab, and i want to inspire others to do so. So, in this project, i incorporated the definition of hijab, cleared the misconception, and tried to persuade Muslimahs to wear the hijab proudly.
