My entry >:3 ====Backstory==== It was a starless night, on the 13th of July, when everything changed in Madeline's life. It was the day after Madeline's birthday, when she was in her bedroom, she heard a scream. A long, heart-broken scream before stopping suddenly. Seven years old Madeline looked up and wondered who screamed. She stood up slowly before hearing a nervous and loud knock on the door. Fortunately for her, Madeline decided to go to the door instead of the source of the scream. Madeline saw her neighbour outside so she unlocked the door. At the moment the door was opened by Madeline, her neighbour, Mr. and Mrs. Philos, rushed in and asked Madeline "Where are your parents?". Madeline shrugged and whispered in a carless tone "Probably in the living room-". Madeline stopped suddenly at that sentence, horror reflected on her face as she realised what it might mean and turned to the closed door of her living room : the scream came from the living room. Mr. and Mrs. Philos rushed to the door and tried to open it but it was locked. As Mrs. Philos broke the lock and Mr. Philos ran in, Mr. Philos yelled. In the room, there was the body of Madeline's parents, Mr. John and Mrs. Romilda Shia. Madeline, who was still outside of the living room, walked in. She let out a scream and fainted. Around 2 days later, Madeling woke up in the local hospital with a horrible headache. Mr. and Mrs. Philos was in the room, sitting on a chocolate brown couch. Mrs. Philos rushed over as she saw Madeline was awake. She pushed her back to sleeping position and said in a shivering voice "Stay calm, breath... how are you feeling?". Madeline breathed before opening her dry mouth and replying "My head hurts.". It has been six years since Madeline's parents died, but Madeline lives a happy life with Mr. and Mrs. Philos. Madeline tries not to think too much about her parent's death and that traumatising day. While living a normal teenager life, Madeline has accepted that her parents are gone and won't come back. In addition, Madeline goes regularly to a therapist and practices meditation and yoga. She learned to stay calm in the most stressfull situations and control herself. Madeling grew up to be a golden-hearted young lady that everyone around appreciates.
