Hey! So, I figured that since I posted a fanart of Roger Taylor and Dominique Beyrand last month, I should post a fan art of Mary Austin and Freddie Mercury. (I also just really needed to post something lol-) I did take some creative liberties here, for example I couldn't define exactly what their face expressions were due to photo quality. But I think it looks 'close enough' to my reference. Yeah, let's just get into it! xD Space or click. 1. My reference, this is one of the Queen at Ridge Farm photos, which are probably my favorites. 2. Original sketch. 3. Redone sketch. I didn't like how Freddie originally turned out, so I drew him, Mary I actually liked through the entire process. 4. Lineart :3 5. Ahh, I forgot to save the lineart from when I began to go over it digitally- here's the rough color, though. 6. I erased the white background, cleaned up the color as best I could, and added shading & highlights.
