Characters: Charsong & Glitch Story: Charsong was born a loner, named Smoke at birth by his mother, Daffodil. But he was born in a fire. His mother, not strong enough to escape, told Thrush, her mate, to take Smoke and run. The one thing Thrush missed, though, when running, was that they lived next to clan territory. MountainClan, to be specific. Silverwhisper and Cinderpaw were out hunting, just them two, when they found Thrush deep in clan territory. Cinderpaw mistook Thrush for a deer, and attacked. Thrush defended himself and Smoke, who they hadn't noticed yet. Thrush fought valiantly, but he was tired from running so far from the fire. He collapsed from tiredness, and later died from his wounds. Smoke saw Thrush collapse, and rushed over, mewling. Hour old Smoke took one look at the cats who felled Thrush, and took off running. Smoke was very good at running, for a newly born cat, but Silverwhisper and Cinderpaw easily caught up. They didn't have the heart to leave this young a kit to die, alone. They brought Smoke to their camp. Not knowing what Smoke's name was, they called Smoke "Charkit" after his black paw, and the fact that Thrush's last words were "There was a fire. We're loners. Take care of my little one." Glitch found him when he was given the title of Charpaw. Glitch is a fragment of Charpaw's memory. Because he, somehow, knew. That it was his birth, that caused Daffodil to be so weak. His fault that Thrush ran so far, just to make sure he was safe. Charpaw, as an apprentice, found a love for music and singing; thus was named Charsong. Charsong is scared of fire, because it ruined his life as a loner. Clearing some things up (things I thought up when making the story lol - confusion things and just questions I asked myself that I answered for fun): MountainClan = made up Clan that has personality like ShadowClan. They live in the mountains Cats singing = made up thought to fit with Charsong's name Charsong's Eyes turn white = special to his character. This happens when he thinks about fire. Charsong's Eyes are yellow? = Design change from the initial blue. I don't have Charsong's eyes open in the version in the backpack, and I didn't want to get a version from when his eyes were open, so I changed Charsong's eye color When was Smoke named? = Daffodil yelled, "Thrush, take Smoke and run." Thrush is smart and figured out who Smoke was. Was Smoke a planned name by Daffodil and Thrush? = no. They were waiting to see what Smoke looked like. Smoke was born in a fire, had gray fur, and a black paw. Is there StarClan in this "made up kind of world" = yes. Will Charsong ever become Charstar? = I don't know. Maybe. Probably, because I want Charsong to speak to his parents again In a past meme, Charsong seems female, since the flower clip? And with the forest-y setting in a different, all that. And if Charsong is your fursona, and your female? But then in this and the meme he was introduced in the pronouns "he" are used = Charsong is male. So what the flower pin, or the design, or anything? Charsong fits best as a male, and Charsong is a male, even though Charsong may give off some female vibes, maybe, but Charsong is a male. Was Glitch his mentor? = no. Glitch is Charsong's imagination, because of his guilt at everything, Glitch was created Was Glitch clone practice = yes lol. I don't work with clones Inspiration? = nope.
