edit 2: if ur cis/neurotypical/able-bodied; dont share ur "opinion" or w/e! idc :) ur speaking over the individuals who are affected by this. sorry if this is rude, its just the truth <3 /srs edit 1: i forgot to add that if you are not in a safe position to put your pronouns in your bio, you don’t need to. but make sure people know that by putting a diamond symbol in your bio. ily! <3 OKAY HERE WE GO AGAIN i made a project about something like this a while back, but i unshared it. i think it's an important thing to bring up, so i'm gonna do that again. PLEASE PUT YOUR PRONOUNS IN YOUR BIO. i don't care if you're cis. it's still important. trans/nonbinary individuals get targeted for wanting their pronouns to be used everyday, and it's helping normalize that so people aren't quick to assume and attack. it's not hard. it'll take under a minute to put them in your bio. when i say put your pronouns in your bio, i mean put your PRONOUNS. not your gender. "female" doesn't have pronouns attached to it, and neither does male or nonbinary. by putting that in your bio, i still don't know your pronouns!!! by female, you probably mean she/her, so PUT SHE/HER!!!! NOT JUST "FEMALE"!!!! in the end, it's not difficult to put a simple "he/him", etc, in your bio. if you don't have room, make some! and, please, DON'T put it in a font. avoid putting fonts in your bio/projects/comments. screen-readers CANNOT read those, which makes it ableist. just don't use fonts. it's not hard, either. i don't care if you want to be aesthetic, being a decent human being is much more important that that. thank you, have a good day. ---- song is by regina spektor art is mine, don't use it /srs character and code are also mine bg taken from one of @-pictures- 's aesthetics
