OFFICIAL WATCHERS STUDIO!! https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/29067360/comments/ Watchers come in three main subspecies: Sunwatchers, Moonwatchers, and Starwatchers. There is also a mutation subspecies, Eclipsewatchers. SUNWATCHERS: Sunwatchers are the most common of the Watchers, active during the day, sleeping at night. They trace the sun's path across the sky, making their homes near ancient sundials, deserts, or the North and South poles in their respective summers, when the sun barely sets. They don't need to eat, but they enjoy fruit when they can find it. Sunwatchers have a single Pearl that can be red, orange, or yellow. It stores sunlight energy to be used later to power its magic. Sunwatchers have two forepaws and two small wings almost like a butterflys', attached to the base of the tail. Their fur is very short and glossy, red, orange, or yellow colored. Sunwatchers have three golden Orbs that store the majority of the sunlight energy that they use, along with the pearl on its forehead. These Orbs float directly above the tail of the Sunwatcher, and it prefers to keep these in the sun as much as possible. Sunwatchers use sun energy to stay active in the dark/cold, when the sun isn't out or isn't shining very brightly. Without this energy, they fall into a deep sleep akin to hibernation in the darkness or extreme cold, and they will remain asleep until they gain more sunlight energy from the sun. Sunwatchers can use fire magic, and they can use growth magic to influence plants. Their magic is always golden. Sunwatchers have red eyes. MOONWATCHERS Moonwatchers are less common than Sunwatchers, and like their name says, they are more active in the night, being mainly nocturnal. They make their homes near deep reflective lakes, old atronomy towers and observatories, cold tundras, and a large number of them travel to the North and South poles during their respective winters, when the sun barely rises, if at all, and the moon is out longer in the cold weather. Like other Watchers, Moonwatchers don't need to eat, but they enjoy fish and small game sometimes. Moonwatchers have a single pearl in the middle of their foreheads that can be silver (or, less commonly, grey/white), and stores the moonlight energy they absorb for later use. Moonwatchers have two forepaws and two large wings that look almost like fins, with silver reflective fur near the center. They also have a small ridge of fur in the middle of their back. Moonwatchers' fur is thicker than Sunwatchers', mostly because they live in colder climates. Their fur is green-blue, bark blue, or cyan. Moonwatchers have three Orbs that store moonlight energy to be used later for magic and energy, and these float above the ridge of fur on its back. They prefer to keep these Orbs exposed to as much moonlight as possible. Moonwatchers use moonlight energy to stay active in warm climates or bright sunlight. Without this energy, the Moonwatcher would fall into a state of deep hibernation in bright light/warm weather, unable to awaken until it is exposed to more moonlight. Moonwatchers can use ice magic, and they can use healing magic to heal wounds in living creatures. Moonwatchers have silver eyes, and their magic is silver.
I'm going to stop briefly to tell you about the different tiers and HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN Watcher! If you're legible for a tier higher than normal, then after this, you can keep reading to learn about Starwatchers and Eclipsewatchers! HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN WATCHER: Simply fill out the form included inside the project after reading all the instructions about tiers/about the individual Watcher you'd like to make! There are also bases you can use to draw your Watcher's ref sheet, if you'd like (with the proper credit given, of course ;3) TIERS: NORMAL: Sunwatchers and Moonwatchers are NORMAL tiers. Anyone can make these! Just fill out the form INSIDE of the project and REMIX the project, and i'll approve it ^^ This is so your form doesn't get lost in my inbox! RARE: Starwatchers are RARE tiers! If I know you and consider you a friend or acquaintance, you're legible for a Starwatcher! IF YOU'RE UNSURE WHETHER YOU'RE A FRIEND, then fill out 'unsure' in the form inside! IF YOU KNOW YOU AREN'T A FRIEND, but you still want to get a Starwatcher, then fill out the 'PAYMENT' section in the form inside! I'm willing to take art or characters/customs in return for a Starwatcher ^^ EPIC: Eclipsewatchers are EPIC tiers. These can be gained for free ONLY IF YOU ARE A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE. (examples: @Rex_Griffin, @xXBlue_MoonXx) If you aren't a friend and still want to get an Eclipsewatcher, you can fill out the 'PAYMENT' section inside for that as well- but I'm going to be MUCH PICKIER for Eclipsewatchers!! Read on if you'd like to learn about Starwatchers and Eclipsewatchers! SPECIAL WATCHERS: STARWATCHERS Starwatchers are very rare, and they keep to themselves, experts at staying hidden and unnoticed. They can be nocturnal or diurnal, depending on which stars and constellations they dedicate their lives to watching. Some Starwatchers will have daystars as their chosen stars, so they will be active during the day; however, most Starwatchers are nocturnal. They make their homes near ancient temples and structures built to observe the skies, making Mayan temples a favored spot. Starwatchers don't need to eat, but they enjoy sweet foods when they can find them. Starwatchers have no Pearls at all, so the entirety of their magical power comes from the Orbs on its back and head. Starwatchers have two paws, the left one being silver, and the right one being golden. Starwatchers have four wings; the first, slightly smaller, has grey fur, matching the muzzle of the Starwatcher; the feathers are silver. The second, larger pair of wings also have grey fur, but the feathers are golden, not silver. Starwatchers are mostly dark-green or dark aquamarine. excluded. Starwatchers won't fall asleep in hot or cold weather, but they will become increasingly lethargic the longer they stay away from their star(s). Starwatchers whose stars come out at night will become tired during the day, and vice versa; however, this effect can be halted for short periods of time using starlight magic, gathered and stored using the Orbs on the Starwatcher's back. Starwatchers can use fire and ice magic, and illusion magic; usually, they use this last magical ability to keep themselves disguised amongst regular mortals. Their magic can be either gold or silver, or both. Starwatchers have two different colors of eyes; the right eye is silver, and the left eye is golden. ECLIPSEWATCHERS Eclipsewatchers are born in- you guessed it- eclipses, whether solar or lunar, it doesn't matter. They are legendary and very rare, almost nonexistent. Eclipsewatchers can have any of the traits of Star, Sun, or Moonwatchers blended together, and they have a mixture of golden, silver, and black magic; their magic is extremely strong. ECLIPSEWATCHERS ARE ALWAYS BLACK; they can have streaks or markings in any color, but THEIR MAIN FUR COLOR IS ALWAYS BLACK. Their eyes are always white, no pupils. Eclipsewatchers are very unstable at first, both in mentality and magic. They can explode in waves of magical energy if something or someone sets them off; this can result in unintentional destruction of catastrophic magnitude. Sometimes other Watchers will try to help an Eclipsewatcher regain some mental health, with varying degrees of success. Sometimes they will succeed, and the Eclipsewatcher will become perfectly healthy magically and mentally, but much more often, the Eclipsewatcher will destroy them by accident. This will devastate the Eclipsewatcher, who often tries to bring back the dead Watchers- this will result in a zombified empty shell of the Watchers coming back to keep the Eclipsewatcher company. By this point, their mental state will have eroded to irreparable measures- the broken Eclipsewatcher will become violent and bloodthirsty, gaining a zombie army from their victims. Eventually, they are usually brought down by powerful Starwatchers to end their reign of terror. Edit 1/30/21 - #1 on trending for #species! #art #species
