"Wake up! Wake up!!" A voice said in my ear I woke groggily and grunted "Come on.." A paw prodded at my side "Remember??" I suddenly remembered- our apprentice ceremony! How could i forget? I bolted upright and looked at my brother Owlkit "When is it?" I ask excitedly "Soon" My mother Grassyfoot told me as she scoops me up and grooms my fur "You all will be great warriors Lightkit- Owlkit- and Amberkit." As Grassyfoot says this i hear the call- "Let all cats who are old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the high-stone for a clan meeting!" As we trot out, i see my mother give us a sad look 'I wonder what that was for..' i thought as i stood beneath Shardstar, a young dark brown tabby tom. "It is time for three kits to become apprentices. Owlkit. From this day to the day you become a warrior you shall be known as- Owlpaw, with your mentor being Greyheart" A grey she cat padded out and bumped noses with my brother as i was called with my mentor being Shardstar himself and Lightkit getting the mentor of Shellface.
