Eddie is from a rp, but I loved his character so much that I just had to make him one of my OCs. Here’s his bio: Name: Eddie Tara Age: 25 Gender: Male Sexuality: Gay, Asexual Species: Mer Personality: Eddie is extremely reclusive, though under that little line look, he’s pretty awkward and the flustered type. He likes to put himself away from others, as he can get social anxiety from the slightest mishaps in front of people. Eddie wouldn’t harm a fly, or fish in his case. But it sure does look like he would. Eddie has a curious nature, and a hopeless obsession with anything shiny. You find him a bunch of shiny things, he’s indebted to you. Likes: ANYTHING THATS BRIGHT AND SHINY, adventure, relaxation when he feels he deserves it, crafts, trying out new looks. Dislikes: Conversing with relatively anyone he hasn’t heard, seen, or met before, very dark areas or places, jump scares, just anything that clashes with his style. Special Ability: Switchblade (He can immediately switch his fingers into sharp black claw like blades and tail fins into sharp piercing blades) Backstory: Eddie is pretty much like any other Mer. He was born and grew up in his home town reef, always getting little cuts or bruises from exploring the reef. He grew up with his curious and adventurous tendencies, but was often gossiped about or would hear a snicker .org two every day he passed by a familiar Mer. That let insecurity fester inside of him. Nowadays as an adult, he is reclusive and silent, though he’s still out adventuring just like in his childhood. And he had his ability to keep him safe. But one day, like almost every Mer, he wondered what was up above the great big blue, so of course with his curiosity and adventurous nature, Eddie ventured up to the Ocean’s top dark at night. He swam and swam until arriving at a beach. Though, on that beach there was a trail of red. It reeked of death suddenly. He looked up and saw a masked man, holding a sharp weapon. Eddie had shrieked, drawing attention to himself. The masked man rushed over to Eddie, an extremely phenomenal creature, and of course dragged him ashore quickly so that he couldn’t escape. That masked man was of course Jackson. Eddie was then put on his back, a knife to his throat. Eddies heart was beating through his chest, eyes widened in fear. Though, Jackson didn’t seem to kill him yet. Instead, he looked around, then looked at Eddie. He sighed and put away the knife. Jackson then grabbed Eddies tail and dragged him away from the shore, dropped him back down, and knocked him unconscious. Next thing you know, Eddie wakes up in a sizable pond the forest outside of an old cabin. Jackson comes out, no mask, with food. Eddie takes the food after Jackson leaves. This repeats for about a week until Jackson started asking questions like,”What is your name?” or,”What are you?” Things like that. About two weeks of that passed by. Eddie sometimes answered when Jackson took the food away. Soon enough, this became an ordinary thing. Jackson asked some questions every day, Eddie would ask about one and get some food. They became friends, but the pond was horrible for Eddie. After many many many days of asking to head back to the ocean, Jackson reluctantly let Eddie go. But of course, Eddie comes to the shore every night to see his friend. He was eventually acquainted with Lydia and Victoria after many months of friendship, and now everyone is just chill. Extra: Eddie actually has Stockholm syndrome , meaning he has bonded with his captor. I hope you like this OC. Eddie is a fun little character that I will possibly use in Mer RPs because j my t lazy butt doesn’t feel like making a whole character when I’ve got a good one right here.
