Book 2: Vibirius Diaplos had had enough of the acts that Shiirath had come through with. First, the intense hatred he showed the other gods and goddesses alike. Then, his creation of the Shiispawn, who Diaplos and Iaculis had deemed filth. And now, he's split his own demigod in half to fuel even more of a grudge. Iaculis had already saved every single version of Cerul, while Shiirath planned to create an army of the Corra of the multiverse. Diaplos decided it would be best to execute Shiirath, a task he knew would be virtually impossible. He commanded Iaculis to make a vessel for him that he could bless with extreme power. A power that would allow the vessel to kill any god or goddess it pleased. At that specific instance, it seemed nearly flawless. This would only lead to a battle that nearly led to the death of Diaplos. Iaculis created a monster that could blend into the hellish environment Shiirath lived in. They called it the "Praideos Aum Dorumes", for it's one true purpose of creation would be to slay the gods to which they were opposed to. Their plan failed miserably, and the Praideos Aum Dorumes sought out to slay every god it could see, to rule the versities with its rotten hand. Diaplos wouldn't stand for it. The god of the spiders created a portal that would send the monstrosity to a blank space, one where it couldn't escape from. The difficult part would be to push the thing through. It refused to cooperate and slashed at Diaplos' face, blinding 2 of his 6 eyes and spreading venom throughout his body. Despite the possibility of his immortal body dying, Diaplos still fought back, using his many legs and strands of tough golden webs to break through the monster's flesh. In what seemed to be their last moment, Diaplos sent Praideos Aum Dorumes flying backward into the portal, sealing it shut in the process. Diaplos fell weak and tired, and he was unable to work on keeping the dimensions together. This point in time was called the Silentius. Iaculis kept the dying god alive, but he was still suffering. She couldn't fully heal him and tend to both of their duties all at once, so she created a very special being to aid her. Basteer, the Great Aid. The first High Priest. Basteer would heal Diaplos as he slept, and as Iaculis kept the dimensions together. After many decades of waiting, Diaplos was able to fully recover, he gave Basteer the ability to traverse through dimensions as a blessing for aiding him and gave Iaculis new control over the many multiverses Diaplos was used to watching over.
