This is my entry for Redwolf's DTA! I drew their Jackalope. -The spots came out better than I thought they would. I did forget the orange markings on the arms/ legs on the first one and the horns on the animation but besides that I worked pretty hard and it's very satisfying to look at it now. Press space or click to move on. (In England)I worked from 23rd/01/2021 - 20th/02/2021 I would recommend getting to slide 3 before the first song finishes otherwise you will be sitting there... in silence... for a very long time.... The name I gave her: Orbit Backstory I gave her: Orbit was born in a forest with hundreds of siblings. She hated living in the crowded burrow and normally was out looking for something to call her own. Whenever she did find something, like a hole in a tree, her parents would tell all her siblings and she'd have to share it. Orbit hated when this happened. One day as Orbit was searching for a new thing, she froze. She listened carefully. Footsteps echoed through the forest. She knew there was danger, but she was too scared to move. Before she knew it, a fox snatched her up. She was helpless in the jaws of the predator. Unless.... She bashed her horns into its shoulder and flapped her wings a bit. She repeated this until the fox bled. Eventually, It dropped her and ran off. She smiled at the sight of a small, scissor-like, fox tooth in front of her. She picked it up happily. As she was going back home to brag about how she defeated a fox, she thought for a bit. Maybe she didn't have to go back... Maybe she could just disappear.... She rushed as far as she could, away from the burrow. She reached a stream, but it didn't stop her. She leaped over it, extending her wings and landed on the other side with a bump. She got up. She fell back down . She squealed at the pain that was in her front leg. She lay there for a bit. As soon as she thought she could, she got up once more and flapped her small wings in hope of flying. Nothing.... Nothing.... Yes... No! She fell to the floor injuring her leg more. The sun was setting. Daylight was fading. The night would come opening her to the dangers of nocturnal predators such as the owl, the fox and, worst of them all, the badger... She dug a small hole in the side of a hill with her good paw, and cowered there. She didn't want to be hurt more than she already was. I think I did well. XD If you are a contestant and you've read up to here, Good Luck!
