IMPORTANT!! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/530833137/ Hello hello hello! Here's another dtae in which I will moon over the character a little too much :') Hhhhh but I do love him a lot ;w; He will be used if I win him :) Anyways here's the bio(?) uwu Aries of Verno...? Male Canine; potential courser/Italian pointer mix? Age unknown; adult maybe?? Seen as a lawful neutral or perhaps a neutral or lawful good; otherwise unknown? Seemingly reclusive Likes: hills/high places, cold sunshine, deer, gophers, caterpillars, lukewarm water, salty things Dislikes: prairies, intense heat, mountain lions, weasels, sparrows, hot/spicy things, other? Bandages, roses, brambles, scars, etc. are not opt. Aries is thought to be a character of some ancient, forgotten legend. However, most say he is more myth than legend. Who knows, they seem to be right, after all, no one even knows the legend's basic plot or content. Could this character possibly even be real, after all? The probability that he exists seems shallow, really. How do we know? What proof is there that such a creature could exist? It is my opinion that Aries was simply some character who has come out of someone's imagination, and has no basis in reality. The entire idea that he actually exists is completely preposterous. But who knows, maybe he is real... we can all have our own opinions... #0 Thumbnail #1 Original design, made by @PiinkInkling #2 Slight redesign #3 Variation of said slight redesign #4 Kinda off-theme sketch headshot oops Bust; I spent over an hour on the brambles alone ;w; (I am pretty proud of this piece anyway though-) Halfbody; find the logic in this piece if you can ;) (yeah that was all intentional don't worry.) Super pleased with that paw lmbo Impulse sketch Pre-scar era Aries (please ignore the legs/chest area- I don't know how they got that way qwq) Ran out of time to do more ;w; [Credits] Design- 96% , 4% Art- 0, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 , 1 Music- Bubblegum Octopus Backstory- Bio and other:
[Backstory] Aries landed and gazed around, listening nervously to the clouded wind as it rushed through his fur. It was chilling, sharp even, but somehow not really so cold... This winter, this late winter, was always so strange; he had wondered where the snow had gone, though the blasts of sky were no different to the temperatures and weathers best known for that time of year. For that current moment, at least. Aries listened to the slight whistling for a moment more before moving on. The day was coming to an end and he wanted to rest, but resting was difficult when he was in the open, feeling nature pushing him as she greatened the chills of the air. Strange cloudy time of year indeed; as he had now come to know... How he missed his green, snowy, mountainous, hilly home. More diverse, perhaps. Further away, undoubtedly, than ever before. But familiar, at least. No. No, he did not want to go back. Let them tell of him or forget, it made little difference. All he wanted was to be done; let his jagged scars heal, perhaps, then maybe return. Ah, but his chosen place of sleep, the place was not even accurate of himself, though his brambles would suggest otherwise. And what a strange name, Apennine, why had he chosen it? He had been ever so confident at the time, what was it all for... He would likely not remember, he had no time for it. He could feel his cold eyes half closing, weighty despite his movement. All emotion he had had before was gone, nothing but the destination mattered anymore. His large paws seemed to drag through the blueish ground, his ears seemed to droop in the night. No, no... not yet, not quite yet. Sleep soon, but this is not the time for that, this was the time for harsh secluded travel. Harsh like the thorns of earth, secluded like the winds of time, ever ongoing, as such is the nature of life. He needed to find a good place for it, for his sleep, a place of relative peace, perhaps even solitude, quiet. If he got a little luck, at least. After some time of soft flight overhead, Aries descended, stumbling as he hit a log. Nevermind it, he needed to inspect his new surroundings, his new settlement as it seemed, for he intended to stay a while. He breathed in the somewhat sweet air, bright with the light of starshine and moonstone, soft with the texture of eagle’s feathers. Not impressive, in his time he had undoubtedly seen mountainous places such as this scruffy area, with much more glamour. The waters at least had a depth to them, blue or not. He paused, feeling their bank's stony boulders, the rough, smooth dampness on his pawpads. Listening again. Listening, and thinking. Ah well. Whatever its likability in his own mind, it would do, it would have to do. He was too tired to go further. This area had a sheltered place, after all, his deep, destined place of sleep, that was the thing he needed most. A hidden, monumental, deep, stony hiding place of black, hiding from the exhaustion of his life. He would take it. It was not the life he was once accustomed to, not the life of height and bright faces and homes and freedom of pains such as time and unfortunate concerns such as his; there were so many. Now... to settle down, finally, it had been so long. Let them tell their stories, he would sleep life, sunshine, even his presence in society away... Figure that one out if you can ;) Note: yes, this is based off the song, but only the most obvious parts ;) Let me know any theories you have below,, I'd love to hear them :0
