Make sure you read the Notes and Credits, that is the most important part of this. If you´re wondering why you have never heard about these animals, it's because they dyin'. Yeah google for the pictures... I mean me, I did this, I'm a photographer. Here are the conservation of these animals: Aardwolf- Least concern Chinese Water Deer- Heavily Hunted Water Bear- Not on any conservation list (survived 5 mass extinctions) Bilby- Endangered (predators like to hunt them) Tenrec- Least Concern Pink Armadillo- Uncertain Axolotl- Critically Endangered (their population is decreasing) Ili Pika- Fewer than 1,000 left (I´d rank critically endangered) Markhor- The markhor is classed as an endangered species by the IUCN, meaning it is in danger of facing extinction in the near future if conservation efforts are not maintained. Numbers between 2,000 and 4,000 exist in the wild. The main reason that the Markhor is endangered is because of hunters. The Markhor has long, sloping horns that are considered a good trophy. Becuase of this, to hunt this species you must pay $70,000. However, some people don't follow this law and are considered poachers. Sunda colugo- Boeadi and Steinmetz (2008) stated that the Sunda colugo is listed as Least Concern by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), while Francis (2008) categorised the Sunda colugo as Near Threatened. Blobfish- Because they live near tasty fish, they are a victim of overfishing. I bring myself to my point, axolotl are critically endangered. Sunda Colugo is Near threatened. Tardigrades are just small but still.
