MarioKartWildCat proudly presents... MARIO KART WILD DELUXE! CONTROLS: To accelerate, press up or w. To back up, press down or s. To turn, press the arrow keys or a-d. To drift, press space while turning. Do this for a while and blue sparks will appear on your back wheels. If you do it long enough, you'll see orange sparks. To do a jump boost, press space on a ramp to perform a boost. Do this at the perfect moment to really succeed and not get stuck in the other terrains. I recommend doing it at around the edge, just don't do it too late! To activate your glider, press the space bar to trick off it and go flying and get some serious distance from the ramp. (You have to hold the accelerate button to glide.) Drive over the red-orange dash pads for a boost! DRIVERS: Mario Luigi Yoshi Peach Bowser Donkey Kong Toad Koopa Troopa Wario Waluigi Shy Guy Daisy Bowser Jr. King Boo Toadette Rosalina Sorry that the drivers and their emblems are so small. It's for the sake of the track and stuff, because there are some narrow turns as well as some where you'll really need to do some inside drifting. Mario Kart WILD Deluxe is a very fun game to play and it kinda helps your hand-eye coordination. Besides that, I added some awesome terrain physics that you'll love! I tried my hardest to make this just like the actual game, so have fun!!! NOTES: Sometimes, I recommend not doing the jump boost ramps. They can cause you to get a bit stuck through the barriers, but you can fix this by trying to drift your way out of there. Also, the water and lava in courses don't actually do much since I couldn't figure out how to Lakitu anything. If you touch it, let go of every button for a bit because it'll back you up. (Hey, it's the best I could do.) Also, this game kinda has a lot of sprites, sounds, and scripts, so if it's laggy, refresh the page. It'll be smooth driving from there after one or two refreshes. UPDATES: The game now shows the drivers stats visibly. Just hover over that character´s emblem and it will show their name, speed, handling, weight class, and mini turbo. I hope this helps out a lot! Thanks a whole lot for playing this, guys. I really appreciate this and hope it'll be my best project yet on Scratch! (Better than the first one, too.)
This game has lots of scripts, sprites, sounds, backgrounds, and everything in between. It also takes about half a minute to load. I recommend you only have one or two tabs open besides this to reduce lag. I figured out the hard way that high CPU usage has a negative effect on Mario Kart WILD Deluxe. For the kart's rotation (not the drifting), I give credit to https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/209190/ For the character sounds, I mainly thank @BobbyF @BobbyF_Extras @hoppingicon @heroyoshi and @DKJungle25 For the music, I give credit to: mostly @hoppingicon for the music from a Mario Kart Wii soundboard, because good beats are always born on the Wii. That´s where nearly all my favorite Mario Kart music is from. (With the exception of GCN Mario Circuit, GBA Cheese Land and Wii U Super Bell Subway) Also credit to @57695 for a teeny bit of the music. @ToadsTunes also contributed to some of the music. Credit to @DKJungle25 for the Cheep Cheep Beach music.
