Click the different power up bars to upgrade skills on the play screen if you have enough power crystals which are shown in the top left! -------------------------------------------------------------- STORY: In a laboratary at a space research HQ they experimented with some weird substance they called sludge but they accidently used power crystals to see what would happen but the sludge came to life! On death power crystals sometimes drop unless they shattered when the sudge died. You have to destroy the failed experiments evidence and use the power crystals to become strong enough to defeat the aliens! ========================================
======================================== This is my entry for Game Makerz Wars but i didn't get to finish completley so there are missing features and bugs. Also pretty sure GMW closed sadly so this isn't reallly an entry anymore. :( All art and code is by me and it took a long time to make so i hope you apreciate it! :) Big thanks to @Real_Poenix for some great feedback and advice for improvements! Also because I did the pixel art on the bitmat scratch editor sometimes it glitches out and looks a bit out of shape. -------------------------------------------------------------- Change Log: v0.6 Fixed more bugs and also the player now looks like a galactic trooper instead of just a plain blank dude. Also over time if you survive long enough in a match then it gradually gets harder as more sludge spawns at alarming rates! v0.5 Alot of bugs fixed and the sludge now looks a slimy aliens instead of a green octopus (they look much more like I imagined now)! v0.4 The sludge aliens now drop the power crystals which you have to manually pick up to get them. They also have a purple glow around them for better graphics. v0.3 Major graphics update and you can now see how much health you have. Flashes and darkness added to enhance the gameplay. v0.2 The sludge aliens can now come from the top and bottom aswell as the sides. v0.1 Initial release. -------------------------------------------------------------- Tags: ========================================
