BACKSTORY | Flame (Female, red fur) and Night (Male, navy fur) were the best of friends when they were pups. They grew up together, and caused mischief all the time. They were practically together all the time. They grew and slowly, their friendship faded. Night became leader of Windclan, and Flame slowly became a rouge. Flame had developed a crush on Night and Night had as well but was... repulsed with himself. "Disgusting." Night decided that it was time to move on from his old life. That meant Flame entirely. He became independent and started his own life, he then obtained a mate, Sun (Female, yellow fur) and eventually had a pup named Flower. A family. Night didn't want Flame to interrupt his life or his clan, so he exiled Flame. Forever. "..." "What?" Rejection. Envy. Ire. Her fury boils over, causing her to snap. "I'm going to make you, suffer," She shouts in a fervor manner, as his cold glare pierces through her. ʜᴇʀ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ. Those were her last words to him as she retreated from the clan's border. Night still had that small spark that clawed inside of him like a wild animal, every time he thought of Flame. He tore at it like a carnivore, but no matter how hard he tried, that small nick of heat was engraved deep into his skin. It hurt him. So much that it was like swallowing thorns. Every time he looked at Sun. He... He... He...? He didn't know what to feel anymore. Every time he looked at her he couldn't help but think of Flame. Every time she smiled, every time she cried. Every time the air was thick around them. So thick you could suffocate. ꜱᴏ ᴡʜʏ ᴅᴏᴇꜱ ʜᴇ ꜱᴛɪʟʟ ʜᴏʟᴅ ᴏɴ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴀꜱᴛ? Flame still thinks of him painfully, every night.
