Last updated 2/22/21 ------------------------- Enjoy my art and tedious detail on each of the planets + some of our solar systens orbiting bodies. Move the 'view' slider to view each object! - Accurate distances from the sun - Correct orbital periods (relative to Earth) Views: View # - planet -1 - Normal scrolling + zooming using size button 0 - Normal scrolling 1 - The Sun 2 - Mercury 3 - Venus 4 - Earth 5 - Mars 6 - Jupiter 7 - Saturn 8 - Uranus 9 - Neptune 10 - Pluto Inner Asteroid Belt + Kuiper belt also pictured, but do NOT have a correct orbital period. That's just how I could get them to become circular, also their are so many objects there that scratch would break if it could get all those in there. Change the size variable on specific settings to zoom in. ((When on view -1)) ------------------------- Credits: - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/78327124/ for help on the scrolling. - Sine Waves project by @GoodFisher and I which I used to figure out how to get the planets to rotate. Very useful; you can find it somewhere on my profile; I'll link it later. - https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/686/solar-system-sizes/ and https://www.google.com/search?q=distance+between+the+planets+and+the+sun&rlz=1CARLJX_enUS833&oq=distance+between+the+planets+and+the+sun&aqs=chrome..69i57.8281j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&safe=active&ssui=on for the sizes of the planets and their distances from the sun. - Of course I have to thank Scratch! This site is amazing, and while parts of the community are questionable at times, the support that people give to those who need it is inspiring!!
