Here is the poem if the project takes too long: “I have a dream!" said MLK It's why we celebrate him today He spoke out because Black Lives Matter But when he did, people got madder, They protested they held sit-ins, Because they wanted to be accepted and fit in, Blacks and Whites used different water fountains, Because whites would not climb the higher mountains, The ones to justice, the ones to peace, The ones that prevent protests on the streets But even when the protesters would ache, This was not for the opponents to take, Because even if our origins are from different places, Different skin colors, different faces, We all should be equal, no matter what, It doesn't cost a bruise or a cut, MLK helped us in every way, It's why we celebrate equality today, Because he helped us, and our earth, During adulthood, childhood, and every birth.
